Plantar Fasciitis
If you suffer from an intense stabbing pain in the heel or arch of the foot, which seems to be at its worst when you first get out of bed in the morning, then you may be suffering from plantar fasciitis. Plantar fasciitis commonly effects pregnant women, runners, overweight people and people who wear inadequately supporting shoes. It is usually displayed in one foot more than the other.
One of the main contributing factors to plantar fasciitis is poor posture. A chiropractor can help correct this as well as realigning and balancing the body to ensure that the weight is distributed more evenly, thus allowing the effected foot to heal more quickly.
If you think you may be suffering from plantar fasciitis book a consultation with one of our team who will try and find a solution for you.
